Summary:

Under the supervision of the Home Care - Program Coordinator:
• Provides and maintains a safe and independent living environment for clients
• Performs general housekeeping, shopping, meal preparation, and laundry-type duties / chores for clients, as outlined within the individual service agreements

Qualifications:

• Must be able to perform general household cleaning-type duties and possess working knowledge of basic household equipment and corresponding usage
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have a current, valid Iowa driver's license with proof of current vehicle insurance
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills specific to the English language
• Successful completion of the ABCM Healthy Living Home Care training program
