The Iowa Department of Inspections & Appeals Health Facilities Division inspects, issues licenses and/or certifies more than 4,000 health care providers and suppliers in the State of Iowa under Medicare and Medicaid Programs, including long-term care. Survey teams from the Division conduct on-site inspections to assess the quality of care and services provided to residents and tenants.

Lin Christiansen named as the Willow Dale Employee of the Month Lin Christiansen, Willow Dale Wellness Village Independent & Assisted Living manager, was selected as October Employee of the Month. Lin began her CNA duties at Willow Dale on September 6, l994. In 2004 Lin obtained her CMA certification and applied for the job as manager of the Assisted Living complex. Lin was awarded that position; one which she still holds. Of working at Willow Dale Lin says: “I enjoy getting up and coming to work every day, and making a difference in the lives of my tenants.” Congratulations Lin!
