Rolling Green Village to break ground on a new Independent & Assisted Living complex in Nevada
Nevada, IA – September 21, 2009 – Rolling Green Village, Nevada, IA, owned by ABCM Corporation, Hampton, IA, is pleased to announce plans for a 16-unit Independent & Assisted Living complex to be built adjacent to their existing long-term care facility. The $3.5 million expansion is due to break ground early 2010, and may also include additional Skilled Nursing beds in the current facility.
Assisted Living communities house nearly 1 million residents, in over 38,000 assisted living and residential care communities nationwide. ABCM recognizes the increasing number of seniors who will be in need of services in the very near future, and that aging baby boomers will be seeking more choices to meet their health care needs. By expanding services in the Nevada community and surrounding areas, Rolling Green Village will be able to provide a continuum of care, more choices to those in need of services, and the capacity to serve more seniors through a special combination of housing and supportive services.
Rolling Green Village takes a Person Directed Care approach to long-term care, encouraging the individuals they care for to make choices in their daily lives, respecting personal preferences, routines, meal choices, and activities. In addition to their Medicare/Medicaid certified 24-hour Skilled Nursing program, Rolling Green Village also provides Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy, Rehab-to-Home, and free transportation to and from appointments and activities. All team members receive ongoing training and education in an attempt to provide the latest health care techniques and highest quality service.
Rolling Green Village welcomes visitors, and will provide professional consultation and tours upon request. They encourage community members to stop by at any time.
