Southfield Wellness Community offers a unique opportunity for senior community living. Our programs, services and amenities provide seniors with the opportunity to fulfill their desire for retirement living which encourages personal growth and peace of mind. Seniors will enjoy the friendship of others who value this unique brand of retirement living and the security of knowing that nursing services are just seconds away. Southfield Wellness Community is a spacious carefully designed apartment community connected to the Care Center for immediate nursing services. The conceps of choice, independence and dignity have been first and foremost throughout the building. We offer security and peace of mind to tenants and family members. The well designed community has kept the seniors' needs in mind. Seniors are encouraged to utilize the many commons areas within the building which are just outside their apartments. The manger's office is conveniently located by the front door and all tenants are encouraged to stop in.

What is Independent Living?
Independent living is for those residents who do not need a combination of housing, personalized supportive services and healthcare to meet their individual needs. Additional services such as bathing, medication set up and distribution, laundry, light housekeeping, delivered meals as well as nutritional counseling are available as needed. Southfield Wellness Community offers a compassionate holistic approach to long-term care. We care for the social and spiritual needs of our residents with social worker services, beauticians and barbers, church services, social events, personal mail delivery and activity programs.
Each apartment includes:
- Emergency call lights in bedroom and bathroom
- Full size stove, refrigerator, microwave and garbage disposal
- Plush wall ato wall carpet
- Easy care vinyl floors in kitchen adn bathroom
- Individually controlled thermostat
- Window treatments
- Walk out patio area and French doors

What is Assisted Living?
Assisted living is a special combination of housing, personalized supportive services, and health care designed to respond to the individual needs of thsoe who require some help with activities of daily living. Assisted living care promotes maximum independence and dignity for each resident and encourages the involvement of a resident's family and friends.

Personal care assistance (grooming, bathing, ambulation)
Medication distribution
Professional nursing services
Nutritional counseling
Additional housekeeping
Maintenance
Laundry
Transportation
Physical, speech and occupational therapy

Daily continental breakfast, noon and evening meal
