Indianola has many attractions
Indianola, Iowa is a close-knit, vibrant community with lots of activity available to residents and their families. Each summer, Indianola hosts exciting events, such as the National Balloon Classic, the dynamic performances of the Des Moines Metro Opera, the Warren County Fair, a monthly motorcycle rally called Bike Night and musical events, such as Bluegrass Tuesdays. Throughout the summer there is a lively farmer's market and in the fall Indianola is host to the Warren County Historical Society's Log Cabin Days. Indianola also boasts a number of locally-owned restaurants as well as premier wineries.
Throughout the year there are numerous exciting activities hosted by the Indianola Chamber of Commerce, the chamber Relight Committee and the Chamber Ambassadors, such as the Arts and Crafts Festival and lighted Christmas parade. The city's Keep Indianola Beautiful committee is actively restoring portions of the city square, including Salem Court, which hosts monthly musical performances by local musicians.
It's also the home to a quality education system, from numerous preschools to an energetic high school, as well as the prestigious Simpson College. Indianola is also the home to plentiful city parks and a Parks and Recreation department with a full-of-life senior center and a plethora of programs. Two state parks, Lake Ahquabi and Summerset State Park, are nearby.

From Shower Rooms to Spas
Westview Care Center is currently renovating our three resident shower rooms. When complete, the rooms will be a major improvement over the previous shower rooms, featuring more accessible space, the latest paint styles, new tile on the walls and floors, better lighting and built-in closets equipped with individual cubby holes for residents' items.
