Unique Programming & Outreach
Day Break: This program provides short-term assistance with caregiving that can relieve stress, restore energy and promote balance in your life. We provide a protective environment for your loved one so you can run an errand, or simply take a well-deserved break. Day Break offers two distinct areas of programming based on level of care that allow caregivers targeted options for relief and support.
Buddy Program: We have adopted a "Buddy Program" at our home. We realize that moving into a care center can be a bit overwhelming. We want our residents to be as comfortable and happy as possible. Every staff member has a "buddy" in which they spend time with on a regular basis. They visit with them and get to know them on a personal level. It is exciting to watch the wonderful friendships that have developed through this program. |

Manor House Care Center, Sigourney, IA, owned by ABCM Corporation, Hampton, IA, is pleased to announce plans for a new Independent & Assisted Living complex to be built adjacent to their existing long-term care facility. Watch for more information in the coming months.
Press Room3rd Annual Keokuk County Alzheimer's Walk
The 3rd Annual Keokuk County Alzheimer's Walk will be held Sunday, September 18th. The
Walk will begin at 4:00 p.m. at the Sigourney High School parking lot and end in the
Clinic/Manor House parking lots. Shuttle rides will be available back to the High School.
Free entertainment, a silent auction, fun and games will be held in the parking lot after the
walk. Manor House will provide free sandwiches to all wearing the 2011 K.C. Alzheimer's t-
shirts!
